막히는 순간은 보통 셋 중 하나입니다.Getting stuck usually looks like one of three things.
어느 쪽에 가까운지 먼저 골라 보세요. 셋 다 개념을 몰라서 생기는 문제는 아닙니다. 아는 개념을 언제 써야 하는지 몰라서 생깁니다.Pick the one closest to you. None of the three comes from not knowing the concept. They come from not knowing when to use what you know.

수업에서는 문제 조건을 보고 어떤 개념을 쓸지 정하는 기준부터 세웁니다.In class we start with a rule for deciding which concept to use from the conditions of the problem.
해설은 이해되는데 혼자서는 시작을 못 하겠다I follow the solution, but cannot start on my own
해설을 보면 고개가 끄덕여지는데 막상 혼자 풀려면 첫 줄부터 막힙니다.The worked solution makes sense, but when you try alone you get stuck on the very first line.
수업에서는 답을 알려 주기 전에 첫 줄을 어떻게 시작할지부터 보여 줍니다.In class we show how to start the first line before we give any answer.
조건이 조금만 바뀌어도 다른 문제가 된다A small change in the conditions makes it a new problem
풀어 본 문제와 비슷한데 숫자나 조건 하나만 바뀌면 배운 풀이가 안 통합니다.It looks like a problem you have solved, but change one number or condition and the method you learned no longer works.
수업에서는 조건이 바뀌어도 변하지 않는 구조부터 찾고 계산은 그다음에 합니다.In class we look for the structure that survives the change before we calculate.

- 이해Understand개념을 정의와 그림으로 다시 봅니다. 공식은 그다음입니다.See the concept again through its definition and a picture. The formula comes after.
- 접근Approach문제 조건을 보고 어떤 개념을 쓸지 정하는 기준을 세웁니다.Build a rule for deciding which concept to use from the conditions.
- 적용Apply조건이 바뀐 문제도 같은 기준으로 첫 줄을 써 봅니다.Try the first line of a changed problem with the same rule.
- 자립On your own해설을 덮고 끝까지 풀어 봅니다. 막힌 곳만 질문으로 남깁니다.Close the solution and finish on your own. Ask only about the point where you got stuck.

2026년 12월 14일 대성마이맥에서 수능 수학 전범위(대수, 미적분Ⅰ, 확률과 통계)와 그 바탕인 공통수학1, 공통수학2 강의를 고1·고2 강좌로 시작합니다. 2028학년도 수능부터 수학은 대수·미적분Ⅰ·확률과 통계 세 과목을 한 시험으로 봅니다. 교재는 『트리니티 에센스』(개념서)와 『트리니티 타겟』(개념서 워크북)입니다. 강좌명과 강좌별 대상, 수강 링크는 확정되는 대로 올리겠습니다. 아직 이 페이지에서 모집하거나 결제를 받지는 않습니다.Courses covering the full CSAT maths range (Algebra, Calculus I, Probability and Statistics) and its foundation, Common Maths 1 and 2 open on Daesung MyMac on 14 December 2026, as Years 10 and 11 (고1·고2) courses. 정의되어 있고 극한값이 존재하고 둘이 같아야 합니다. 세 조건을 하나씩 짚고 평가원 문제에서 이 조건이 어떻게 읽히는지 본 뒤 닫힌구간에서의 연속까지 이어서 설명합니다.Defined, the limit exists, and the two agree. The lesson checks each condition in turn, shows how a KICE problem reads them, and finishes with continuity on a closed interval.

Trinity College, Cambridge에 학비 전액과 생활비를 지원받는 장학생으로 입학해 Mathematical Tripos BA를 마치고 Cambridge MA를 받았습니다. 수능과 평가원 모의평가에서 미적분·확률과 통계·기하 모두 원점수 100점을 받았고 연세대 치의예과(2022)와 약학과(2024) 논술전형에 합격했습니다. 강남대성 기숙학원 의대관과 대성마이맥에서 가르쳤고 지금은 학원 출강 없이 인강만 준비합니다. 깊이 있는 수학을 학생이 문제를 시작할 때 쓸 수 있는 구체적인 기준으로 바꿔 가르치려고 합니다.Sungmin Kim entered Trinity College, Cambridge, on a scholarship covering full fees and living costs, completed the Mathematical Tripos BA and received the Cambridge MA. He scored full raw marks in Calculus, Probability and Statistics and Geometry on the CSAT and the KICE mock exams and was admitted to Yonsei University's dentistry (2022) and pharmacy (2024) programmes. He taught at Gangnam Daesung Boarding Academy's medical track and on Daesung MyMac, and now prepares online courses only. He aims to turn mathematical depth into practical ways for students to begin a problem.

Those three subjects are the whole of what I teach, and the same subjects set the school exam range. As in the sample lesson, each concept is built and then read in KICE problems. Where each course puts its weight, school assessments or the CSAT, will be stated in the course guide once confirmed.
